blender + fruit + yogurt + juice + protein powder = yummy good-for-you dessert.
I usually go with a 1 banana, 1 tbsp low-fat vanilla yogurt (as thickening base), 1 cup strawberries, 1/4 cup blue berries, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/2 cup pineapple or orange juice, 5-6 ice cubes, 1 scoop protein powder.
Adjust recipe to caloric levels and taste. Makes a great dessert and easy to clean.
and craving sweets means I need protien..so I tried that then went for half the fat, light ice cream.
i was also out of protien shake mix or I would have doen that..just a bit of stevia and vanilla rice milk
